Today, Microsoft has launched consumer preview for Windows 8 for public. Windows 8 and its unique Metro UI have created a big hype in tech world. The previous version, Microsoft Windows 8 developer Preview was only for developer and high end users. With Consumer Preview , everyone can understand and use Windows 8 Metro UI .
This time, Microsoft has also provided detailed system requirements, for running this consumer preview. To run this preview, one must have at least 1 GHz processor and DirectX9 or latest known specifications. If one wants to use it as 32-bit, 16 GB disk space is must. If one wants to use 64-bit, 32 GB disk space is must.
