Screenshots are used for various purposes like remote support, guide and sometimes for fun. There is a very old method of capturing screen shots by pressing Print Screen key, and later, pasting the same into Paint or some other applications. Moreover, there are number of software available over the internet for capturing screenshot. However, Windows 7 provides a default utility to capture screenshots , in different shapes and formats , without installing any software.
Open start menu from the task bar and navigate to Snipping Tool, either by clicking on it, or, by typing for the same in the search box provided.
Here, there are total four options for shapes .Select the appropriate shape and capture screenshot.
After the screenshot is taken, save it by right-clicking over it , on your desired format.
