How to reverse – search images on Google

Google has been one of the best search engines for every type of content available over internet. May it be images, videos, news or anything else. For most of the search engine tactics, Google has been pioneer.

Google has recently launched a reverse image search service. This is a service, in which you can upload an image to Google from your PC or laptop or provide a hyperlink of an image to Google and Google will search the location of that photo, that is, Google will search for a website , where  the photo is situated. This service is very much similar to Google Goggles.

Use of this service has gradually increased, as the same has not been advertised over internet heavily. However, this is a very useful service for various uses. Suppose, you have created an image and placed on your profile or website and want to check if anyone has copied it or not. You should just upload the image from your PC or give the URL of that image to Google and you will find if the image is copied or not.

Another use of this service is not much useful but an interesting. Suppose, someone has sent you a friend request on Facebook and the profile picture of that persons sounds very attractive , and you want to check about the credentials of that picture and that profile. You just have to follow the same procedure as discussed above and you will get the results within seconds.Hence, you can find if the profile is genuine or fake.

The reverse-search is a very easy process , hence, there is no need of step-by-step guide. Below is the summary of the whole process, which will help you in this procedure.
Go to Google image search  page , click on the Button  and you will be shown two options. The first option is for submitting URL of image and the second option is for uploading an image.Select the appropriate option and see the result.
