Link Facebook and Twitter Accounts

In the era of social networking, updating status regularly is very important. There are various services available around the web to update your status simultaneously with a single click, on more than one social network.This save a large amount of time. Two social networking giants, Facebook and Twitter have introduced a service, which links user’s Facebook and Twitter account with a single click. This whole procedure is very secure, as there is no involvement of a third party app in linking.

Here are the steps to link your Facebook Account with your Twitter account so that your Twitter updates can be posted directly to your Facebook Wall.

1. Log In to your Facebook and Twitter Accounts in different tabs or windows of a same browser.

2. Go to Profile tab in your Twitter Account page.

3. Under this Tab, click on Edit your profile link.

4. In the bottom part of the page, there is an option named Facebook.

5. Against this option, there is a button, which shows, Post your Tweets to Facebook.

6. Click on that button. A new window will open and you will be asked to grant permissions for Twitter, from Facebook.

7. Click on Allow button, to grant permissions.

Now, your Facebook and Twitter accounts are connected.That is , if you post a new tweet, it will also be shown on your Facebook wall as a status update. Direct Messages are not a part of this link; therefore, you cannot see them on Facebook.
